The Gombe State Scholarship Board has announced a physical verification exercise for scholarship beneficiaries. This exercise is mandatory for all students receiving state scholarships.

Verification Details

• Start Date: Monday, 20th October 2025
• Operating Hours: 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. daily (including Saturdays)
• Venue: Gombe State Scholarship Board office

Required Documents

Students must present original copies of the following:

• Scholarship printout
• Admission letter
• Latest school fees receipt
• Local government indigene certificate
• Valid school identity card

Who Should Report

Two categories of students are expected to participate:

• Students at Home: Report directly to the Board office
• University Students: Await screening team visits to their institutions after the ASUU strike concludes

Important Requirements

• All concerned students are required to appear in person
• All specified documents must be presented in original form
• Punctuality and full compliance with procedures are emphasized

Purpose

The exercise, approved by Governor Alhaji Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, aims to ensure proper documentation and confirmation of eligible beneficiaries.

Scholarship recipients who fail to complete verification may have their benefits suspended.
