IAUE Admission Screening 2025: No Post-UTME Test, JAMB Score Only (August 18-26)

Ignatius Ajuru University of Education (IAUE), Port Harcourt, has announced its admission screening modalities for the 2025/2026 academic session. In a significant development, the university will use JAMB UTME scores as 100% of the evaluation for regular candidates, eliminating the traditional Post-UTME examination.

Screening Schedule

Dates: Monday, August 18 - Tuesday, August 26, 2025

Time: 8:00 AM daily

Venue: Information and Communications Technology Centre (ICTC), Rumuolumeni Campus

Screening Format: No Post-UTME Test

For UTME Candidates

IAUE will NOT conduct a separate Post-UTME examination. Instead:

• Your JAMB UTME score serves as 100% of your assessment
• Candidates are ranked based solely on JAMB scores
• Higher JAMB scores = better admission chances

For Direct Entry Candidates

Assessment is based on:

• Uploaded documentation (certificates, transcripts)
• Qualifications verified through Nigerian Integrated Post-Secondary Data System
• A-Level results validated electronically

In-Person Screening Activities

While there's no written test, candidates must attend for:

1. Data Screening: Verification of personal and academic information
2. Document Verification: Physical validation of uploaded certificates
3. Biometric Capture: Fingerprints and photograph for university records
4. Score Ranking: Confirmation of JAMB score and program eligibility

Required Documents

Candidates must bring:

• JAMB result slip (original)
• O'Level certificates (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
• Post-UTME registration slip (print from IAUE portal)
• Email invitation from IAUE
• Valid means of identification
• Passport photographs

For Direct Entry Candidates:

• All the above documents
• A-Level results or equivalent qualifications
• ND/NCE certificates and transcripts

• Upload results as soon as they become available
