Ibrahim Badamasi Babangida University (IBBUL), Lapai has announced the opening of its undergraduate hostel accommodation portal for newly admitted and returning students.

Portal Opening Details

The accommodation portal will open on Monday, January 5, 2026 at 10:00 PM CAT. Both newly admitted undergraduates and eligible returning students can access the portal to book hostel accommodation for the 2025/2026 academic session.

Requirements Before Portal Access

• Complete payment of school registration fees
• Have necessary documentation ready for hall administrators
• Understand that allocation is on first-come, first-served basis

Important Guidelines

According to the announcement signed by Dr. Suleiman Mohammed Evuti, Deputy Dean of Student Affairs, students must note the following:

• First-Come, First-Served: Bed spaces are limited and will be allocated based on who applies first
• Documentation Required: You must complete documentation with your Hall Administrator before accessing your allocated bed space
• Strictly Prohibited: Buying or selling of bed spaces is forbidden and offenders will face sanctions according to the Student Handbook
• Property Care: Any misuse of university facilities will result in disciplinary action
