IMSU Post-UTME/DE 2026: Cut-Off Mark, Fee and Portal

Imo State University, Owerri has opened Post-UTME and Direct Entry registration for the 2026/2027 admission exercise. Registration starts on Monday, May 25, 2026 and closes on Thursday, June 25, 2026.

Who Can Apply

• Candidates who chose IMSU as first choice and scored at least 160 in the 2026 UTME.
• Candidates who did not choose IMSU first but meet the cut-off mark, provided they change their first-choice institution to IMSU before the application closes.
• Direct Entry candidates with OND, HND, first degree, A-Level or equivalent qualifications in relevant disciplines.

Important Requirements

• All candidates must upload their qualifying results to JAMB.
• Candidates awaiting O'Level results should upload them to JAMB as soon as the results are released.
• Candidates who do not upload their results to JAMB may not be considered for admission.

How to Apply

1. Visit the IMSU application portal.
2. Select the 2026/2027 Post-UTME/Direct Entry application.
3. Enter your JAMB registration number to check eligibility.
4. If eligible, pay the ₦2,000 application fee using your JAMB registration number as the invoice number.
5. Wait 24 hours after payment, then return to the IMSU portal to complete the application form.
6. Print and keep your acknowledgement slip. You will need it at the screening venue.

Screening Date

IMSU says each candidate's screening date and time will be communicated later. Candidates should monitor the official portal and use the JAMB e-Facility portal for JAMB-related admission actions.
