The Vice-Chancellor (VC) of Imo State University (IMSU), Owerri has announced that Male and female students will no longer live together in the same hostels. According to the Vice-Chancellor, IMSU is now having two female hostels for the first time since the institution was established.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Prof Mrs. Adaobi Obasi made this known when she visited Imo First Lady, Hon Lady Ebere Ihedioha in Government House Owerri. According to reports, female students will now live inside the school premises while male students will continue to live off-campus.
This development is said to stop the cohabiting of male and female students in the institution.
