JAMB Warning: 2024 Direct Entry Candidates Must Upload Results or Lose Admission

The Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board has issued an important directive to 2024 Direct Entry applicants who took IJMB or JUPEB examinations. If you have "Awaiting Result" (AR) status, you must upload your results immediately or risk losing your admission.

Who This Affects

This directive applies to 2024 Direct Entry candidates who:

• Took IJMB (Interim Joint Matriculation Board) examinations
• Took JUPEB (Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board) exams
• Have "Awaiting Result" status on their JAMB profile

What You Must Do

Visit any JAMB-approved Computer-Based Test (CBT) centre and upload your examination results as soon as they are released. Do not wait for a reminder or specific deadline.

Consequences of Non-Compliance

JAMB's Public Communication Advisor, Dr. Fabian Benjamin, made it clear: candidates who fail to upload their results will be disqualified from the 2024 Direct Entry admission process. Applications marked "AR" that don't meet this requirement will not be considered for admission at any institution.

How to Upload Your Results

1. Wait for your IJMB or JUPEB results to be released
2. Locate a JAMB-approved CBT centre near you
3. Visit the centre with your JAMB profile details
4. Complete the result upload process
5. Verify that your "Awaiting Result" status changes on your profile

Don't Risk Your Admission

University admission is competitive. Don't lose your spot because of a missed administrative requirement. As soon as your results are available, upload them immediately.
