How to Check and Accept Your Admission on JAMB CAPS 2025/2026

As Nigerian universities continue uploading their admission lists for the 2025/2026 academic session, candidates must understand how to navigate the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS) to monitor and confirm their admission status.

What is JAMB CAPS?

JAMB CAPS is the official portal through which all university admissions are processed and confirmed in Nigeria. Schools upload their admission lists here, and candidates must accept or reject offers through this platform.

Steps to Check Your Admission Status

1. Visit the JAMB e-facility portal at efacility.jamb.gov.ng
2. Log in using your registered email address and password
3. Navigate to "Check Admission Status" on your dashboard
4. Select "Access my CAPS"
5. Click on "Admission Status" to view your offer

If you have been admitted, your photograph will display alongside a congratulatory message. If not yet admitted, you will see "Sorry No Admission has been Given Yet."

How to Accept or Reject Your Admission

Once you receive an admission offer, you have four weeks to respond. You can accept or reject using one of these methods:

Option 1 - SMS Method:

• Send "ACCEPT" or "REJECT" via SMS to 55019 or 66019
• Use the phone number registered with JAMB

Option 2 - JAMB Center:

• Visit any JAMB-accredited center if your phone number is not registered
• Complete the acceptance process with their assistance

After Acceptance

Candidates who accept their admission should immediately print their admission letters. This document is required for clearance and registration at your institution.

Schools have already started uploading admission lists, so candidates should check the CAPS portal regularly to avoid missing important deadlines.
