The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA), Kaduna has announced the commencement of applications for admission into the 78th Regular Course. This prestigious military institution is inviting qualified Nigerian male and female candidates to apply for degree programmes leading to a career as commissioned officers in the Nigerian Armed Forces.
About NDA 78th Regular Course
The 78th Regular Course is a 5-year programme combining rigorous military training with academic education. Upon successful completion, graduates receive an honours degree (BSc, BEng, or BA depending on the course) and a Presidential Commission as officers in the Nigerian Army, Navy, or Air Force.

NDA offers degree programmes across multiple faculties including:
- Engineering programmes (BEng)
- Science programmes (BSc)
- Arts and Social Sciences programmes (BA)
Entry Requirements
- Must be a Nigerian citizen by birth
- Both male and female candidates are eligible
- Must possess SSCE, NECO, or equivalent qualification (not more than 5 years old at time of entry)
- JAMB UTME Score Requirements:
- Engineering courses: Minimum of 210
- Other faculties: Minimum of 180
- Must have applied to JAMB and selected NDA as first choice institution
- Knowledge of French or Arabic language is an advantage
