Kaduna Polytechnic (KADPOLY) is set to commence her online lectures on June 1st, 2020.
This was contained in a memo released by the management on Thursday. The memo reads:
“I have been authorized to write and inform you that the E-learning program of Kaduna Polytechnic would start on Monday 1st June, 2020.
The E-learning User Guide for Kaduna Polytechnic has already been developed by the Kaduna Polytechnic ICT in collaboration with Adhyay Foundation, India, and distribution is underway. Members of staff can conduct e-learning using the following Kadpoly-Adhyay Learning Management System (LMS) platforms.
- Virtual Classrooms.
- Digital Learning.
- Computer Based Test (CBT)
The new IP is 105.112.131.226. Colleges should ensure that course outlines are covered so that when the Polytechnic finally reopens. Earlier: COVID-19: KADPOLY to Conduct All Lectures Online – Rector
The Rector of the Kaduna Polytechnic (KADPOLY), Professor Idris Bugaje, disclosed this to reporters on Thursday in Kaduna.
He explained that the measure has become necessary due to the challenges posed to physical learning by the COVID-19 crisis.
As part of the measures to contain the spread of the disease, Professor Bugaje revealed that the Kaduna Polytechnic would soon commence the renovation of all its students’ hostels.
According to him, this will be done under a public-private partnership in order to provide a clean and conducive learning environment for the students.
The rector also disclosed that upon resumption, the management would enforce the use of face masks by all students and members of staff of the institution.
He added that hand sanitisers would be provided and ensure that the school environment was kept clean and safe.
Earlier: KADPOLY Commences Online Lectures from May 7th
Management of the Kaduna Polytechnic (KADPOLY) has announced the online commencement of Lectures. This was contained in a statement signed by the Dean of Students’ affairs. According to the statement, the online lectures will commence May 7th, 2020. See details of the statement below;
“I write to update you as earlier communicated to bring you update with regards not to have a break in the channel of providing you with a necessary mechanism to make you outstanding Students across the Nation. After following up from the Management, the Head ICT had confirmed that the earlier circulated link is meant for Lecturers to register.
The ICT would make an available link for Students to register which would kick start by 7th of May 2020.
