Kaduna Polytechnic Reschedules First Semester Examinations to May 2025
Kaduna Polytechnic has rescheduled its first semester examinations for both regular and evening program students following concerns raised by the academic community.
The Management Committee announced the decision on April 24, 2025, through the office of the Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Nasiru B. Wailare. The postponement affects multiple student cohorts across different program levels.
New Examination Schedule
Regular program students will now write their first and third semester examinations from May 5 to May 17, 2025. Evening program students have a slightly later schedule, with examinations running from May 19 through June 6, 2025.
The evening program schedule covers National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) students at various levels, including NDI, HNDI, HNDII, and NDII. Students in the 2022/2023 NDII second and fourth semester cohort will also write their examinations during the May 19 to June 6 window.
What Students Should Know
The polytechnic management confirmed that all other second semester activities will proceed according to the existing academic calendar. This means registration deadlines, lecture schedules, and other academic requirements remain unchanged.
Students should monitor official communication channels from the polytechnic for any additional updates or clarifications regarding examination venues, timetables, and requirements.
