Kaduna State Academic Calendar for Schools 2025/2026: Term Dates and Holidays
The Kaduna State Schools Quality Assurance Authority (KSSQAA) has released the approved academic calendar for the 2025/2026 session. This calendar applies to all basic and post-basic public and private schools in Kaduna State.
First Term 2025/2026
- Duration: September 7, 2025 – December 12, 2025
- Academic Weeks: 14 weeks
- Holiday: December 13, 2025 – January 11, 2026 (4 weeks)
Second Term 2025/2026
- Duration: January 12, 2026 – March 18, 2026
- Academic Weeks: 10 weeks
- Holiday: March 18, 2026 – April 12, 2026 (3 weeks)
Third Term 2025/2026
- Duration: April 12, 2026 – July 24, 2026
- Academic Weeks: 15 weeks
- Long Vacation: July 25, 2026 – September 6, 2026 (6 weeks)
2026/2027 Session Preview
First term for the next session commences September 6, 2026 and concludes December 18, 2026 (15 weeks).
