KASU Distance Learning Institute Approved to Start With MBA

‌Kaduna State University (KASU) has received approval from the National Universities Commission to commence academic activities through its Distance Learning Institute.

Initial Programme

The institute is approved to begin with a Master of Business Administration (MBA), delivered through an ICT-enabled supported blended-learning model under the Open and Distance Learning system.

What the Approval Means

• The approval followed a validation visit conducted by an NUC panel in April 2026.
• KASU must comply with the commission’s distance-learning guidelines and implement the panel’s technical recommendations.
• A post-validation assessment is expected after the institute’s first year of operation.
• Additional programmes will require separate programme-by-programme assessment and approval.
