KASU Reschedules Matriculation Ceremony for 2024/2025 Students

Kaduna State University has announced new dates for the 2024/2025 matriculation ceremony for undergraduate and postgraduate students. The ceremony will hold at two campuses.

New Ceremony Dates

Main Campus (Kaduna):
Date: Tuesday, April 15, 2025
Time: 10:00 AM
Venue: 1000-seater Auditorium

Kafanchan Campus:
Date: Thursday, April 17, 2025
Time: 11:00 AM
Venue: 500-seater Auditorium

What You Need to Do

Undergraduate Students: Visit your College or Faculty office to collect your academic gown. Do this before the ceremony date to avoid last-minute rushes.

Postgraduate Students: Collect your academic gown from Room 7, SPG School, Main Campus, KASU.

Who Should Attend

The matriculation ceremony is mandatory for all newly admitted students. Parents, guardians, and well-wishers are also invited to celebrate this important milestone.

The university Governing Council, Management, Senate members, staff, and the general public are welcome to attend.

About Matriculation

Matriculation is the formal ceremony that marks your official admission into the university. During the ceremony, you'll take the matriculation oath, pledging to uphold the university's rules and regulations. This makes you a full member of the university community.

Dress Code

Wear your academic gown over formal attire. Males should wear dark trousers, white shirt, and tie. Females should wear formal skirts or trousers with appropriate tops. No jeans, sneakers, or casual wear allowed.

Arrive at least 30 minutes before the scheduled time to allow for seating arrangements and photography.
