Latest on KSU Student Protests: Management Orders Medical Students Out Of Hostel

According to recent media reports, medical students of Kogi State University (KSU) were ordered out of their hostels by the management of the university. 

Recall that it was earlier reported that the Medical students of the university were protesting the non accreditation of the Faculty of medicine for five years now.

This may have been the reason they were ordered out of the hostel.

Nevertheless, the management of the university and state government should do what is needed in order to secure accreditation for the Faculty.

The medical students of the Kogi state university (KSU) medical students, a few days ago prostested the non accrditation of the faculty of medicine by the Medical Council for about 5 years now.

It was gathered that the students have been studying for up to 7 years without professional examination to qualify them for clinical training in the teaching hospital.

We hope the state government listens to their pleas and do the needful to secure full accreditation for the faculty.
