KWASU issues urgent notice to newly admitted students, 2025/2026

Kwara State University (KWASU) has issued a critical notice to all newly admitted students for the 2025/2026 academic session regarding complications with uploading admission records to the JAMB CAPS portal.

According to a statement signed by Dr. Kikelomo W. Sallee, the university’s Registrar, the institution identified a systematic problem: certain students’ records could not be uploaded due to specific documentation gaps.

Issues Affecting Admission Upload

The problems stem from three primary causes:

1. Non-submission of SSCE results - Students who haven’t uploaded their O’Level results
2. Failure to visit a CBT centre - Students who haven’t updated their personal details
3. Inability to process course changes - Students transitioning to newly offered programmes

Required Actions

Affected students must address one or more of the following:

• Submit SSCE results if not previously uploaded
• Visit a CBT centre to update personal information on file
• Process course changes if transitioning to newly offered programmes

Critical Deadline

Friday, 14th November 2025 - This is the absolute cutoff date for students to update their records.
