This is to inform graduates of Lagos State University (LASU) full-time, Open and Distance Learning and Research Institute (ODLRI) and the sandwich degree (Ojo Campus) programmes respectively, that they are hereby notified of the documents required for the collection of their certificates during the 28th Convocation of the University scheduled to take place between 3rd and 10th April 2025.

The documents are as follows:

1. ORIGINAL NOTIFICATION OF RESULT (OR PAYMENT RECEIPT)

2. DULY COMPLETED ONLINE GRADUATING STUDENTS CLEARANCE FORM

3. PAYMENT RECEIPT OF #53,500 FOR CERTIFICATE & CONVOCATION PACKAGE

4. RECENT ACADEMIC PROFILE

5. ALUMNI PAYMENT RECEIPT – #1000

6. FACULTY CLEARANCE TO PROVE RETURN/ NON COLLECTION OF ACADEMIC GOWN & CAP

7. VALID MEANS OF IDENTIFICATION (NIN/DRIVERS LICENCE/LASSRA/VOTERS CARD/INTERNATONAL PASSPORT)

REQUIREMENTS FOR CERTIFICATE COLLECTION BY GRADUATES FROM ABEOKUTA/ILESA/OYO CAMPUSES

Graduates from the above named campuses are required to present the following documents:

1. ORIGINAL NOTIFICATION OF RESULTS (OR PAYMENT RECEIPT)

2. DULY SIGNED CLEARANCE LETTER FROM THE AFFILIATE INSTITUTION

3. PROOF OF PAYMENT FOR ONLINE CLEARANCE

4. PAYMENT RECEIPT OF #53,500 FOR CERTIFICATE & CONVOCATION PACKAGE

5. RECENT ACADEMIC PROFILE

6. ALUMNI PAYMENT RECEIPT – #1000

7. DIRECTORATE OF SANDWICH DEGREE CLEARANCE TO PROVE RETURN/ NON COLLECTION OF ACADEMIC GOWN & CAP

Management of the Lagos State University (LASU) has issued an important notice to all graduating students on bio-data submission for the production of certificates. The notice as issued by the management is as follows;

The Examination and Records Division is set to commence the production of certificates for the 2023/2024 graduating students. This is to ensure that their certificates are available for collection during the 28th Convocation Ceremony scheduled to hold from 3rd April to 10th April 2025.

For ease of certificate production, graduating students are expected to complete the online graduating student’s clearance and thereafter upload their information & white background passport photograph to generate bio-data for the production of their certificates.

Graduating students are requested to print the completed online bio-data forms, academic profiles and attach a white background passport which should be submitted at their respective faculties on or before close of work on Friday, February 21 2025.

Kindly NOTE the step-by step approach highlighted below for bio-data generation for production of Certificate:

1. Visit LASU website www.lasu.edu.ng

2. Point to STUDENT tab

3. Click on CERTIFICATE PROCESSING

4. Complete the graduates’ bio-data form appropriately with correct information

5. Upload your white background passport photograph

Note: No eyeglasses, no cap, no cropped picture, and no selfie is allowed as this will attract a penalty

6. Print out the completed form

7. Attach a white background passport photograph to the bio-data form

8. Submit the bio-data form with a copy of student’s academic profile to respective faculty offices on or before close of work on Friday, 21st February 2025.
