LASUED Indigeneship Verification Screening for 2024/2025 Admission Exercise

Lagos State University of Education, LASUED indigeneship verification screening for Post-UTME applicants for the 2024/2025 academic session has been announced. See details below.

This is to inform the general public that LASUED Independent Indigeneship Verification Exercise (LIIVE) registration will commence from Friday, 19th July 2024 and close on Sunday, 18th August 2024.

The exercise is for all bonafide candidates from Lagos State Origin who chose LASUED as first choice in the 2024 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) and scored 170 and above. In addition, all Direct Entry candidates who are origin of Lagos State are to pertake in the Exercise.

The Verification Interview shall be for a period of four (4) weeks, starting from Monday, 29th July 2024 to Thursday, 22nd August 2024

Please NOTE that the Independent Indigeneship Verification Exercise does not guarantee or serve as proof of admission into the Lagos State University of Education.

Opening of Portal for Online Registration: Friday, 19th July 2024 – Sunday 18th August 2024.

First week:

Monday, 29th July 2024; Wednesday, 31st July 2024; Thursday, 1st August 2024

Second week:

 Monday, 5th August 2024; Wednesday, 7th August 2024; Thursday, 8th August 2024

Third week:

Monday, 12th August 2024; Wednesday, 14th August 2024; Thursday, 15th August 2024

Fourth week: 

Monday, 19th August 2024; Wednesday, 21st August 2024; Thursday, 22nd August 2024

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Please NOTE that ONLY Candidates who are of Lagos State Origin are eligible for screening. Candidates in this category are expected to be CLEARED by the LASUED Independent Indigeneship Verification Committee (LIIVC) BEFORE being considered for admission;

Old applicants for 2022/2023 and 2023/2024 Academic Sessions that have not been offered admission will only Revalidate their Indigeneship Clearance Certificates at the same venue and

All Direct Entry applicants who are of Lagos State Origin are to participate in this Independent Indigeneship Verification Exercise before they can be considered for admission.
