LASUSTECH State of Origin Verification 2026/2027: Fee, Dates and Portal

Lagos State University of Science and Technology has opened the State of Origin Verification Exercise for Lagos State indigenes seeking admission for the 2026/2027 academic session.

The exercise is for candidates of Lagos State origin who chose LASUSTECH as first choice in the 2026 UTME and scored at least 195, as well as eligible Direct Entry applicants.

Registration and Interview Dates

• Registration opens: Wednesday, May 20, 2026
• Registration closes: Friday, June 12, 2026
• Verification interview: Wednesday, June 17 to Friday, June 19, 2026

Each candidate's specific interview date will be stated on the application form.

Fee and Portal

The State of Origin Verification fee is ₦10,000. Candidates should pay and register through the LASUSTECH SOVE portal.

Important Notes

• Only Lagos State indigenes are eligible for the exercise.
• The verification exercise does not guarantee admission.
• Candidates must be cleared by the State of Origin Verification Committee before processing Post-UTME screening.
• Payments made to individuals or through unofficial channels are at the applicant's risk.
