LASUTH School of Anaesthetic Technology Admission 2025/2026: Requirements and How to Apply

Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) has announced admission into its School of Anaesthetic Technology for the 2025/2026 academic session. Interested candidates should note the eligibility requirements and application process outlined below.

Programme Overview

The Anaesthetic Technology programme at LASUTH is a three-year training course that leads to certification in Anaesthetic Technology. Graduates can work in hospitals, clinics, and healthcare facilities supporting anaesthetists during surgical procedures.

Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible for admission, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Age: Between 18 and 30 years old
• O’Level Credits: Minimum of five (5) credits in WASSCE, NECO, or SSCE (maximum of two sittings)
• Compulsory Subjects: Credits in English Language and Mathematics
• Science Requirements: Credits in at least two of the following three subjects: Biology, Chemistry, and Physics

How to Apply

1. Obtain Application Form: Visit the Department of Anaesthesia at the Old Administrative Building, LASUTH
2. Complete the Form: Fill out all required sections accurately
3. Prepare Documents:
   • Academic credentials (O’Level results)
   • Curriculum vitae (CV)
   • Two recent passport photographs
4. Submit: Return completed forms with all documents to the same location

Application Deadline

Forms will be available for four (4) weeks from November 4, 2025. This means the deadline is approximately early December 2025.

Selection Process

Admission is competitive and involves two stages:

1. Written Examination: Conducted at LASUTH, Ikeja
2. Interview: Only candidates who pass the written exam will be invited
