Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) has announced admission into its NBTE-accredited School of Paramedics Technology for the 2025/2026 academic session. The two-year National Diploma program trains students to become certified Paramedics Technicians.

Program Details

The School of Paramedics Technology offers a comprehensive 2-year full-time National Diploma (ND) program that prepares students for careers in emergency medical services and healthcare support. Upon successful completion, graduates receive NBTE-recognized certification as Paramedics Technicians.

Eligibility Requirements

To qualify for LASUTH paramedics admission, you must meet these criteria:

  • O'Level Results: Five credit passes including English Language, Mathematics, and three core science subjects (Biology, Chemistry, Physics) in not more than two sittings
  • JAMB Score: Minimum 150 marks in UTME
  • Age Requirement: Between 16 and 30 years old
  • Physical Condition: Good physical fitness and agility (required for emergency response training)

Application Process

Follow these steps to apply for LASUTH paramedics program:

  1. Obtain Application Form: Visit the Workforce Planning & Recruitment Unit at the MRC Building, LASUTH Ikeja to collect application forms in person
  2. Gather Required Documents:
    • Completed application form
    • Photocopies of all credentials
    • Two recent passport photographs (white background required)
    • WAEC/NECO certificate or result printout
    • JAMB UTME result slip
  3. Submit Application: Return completed forms with all supporting documents to the Workforce Planning & Recruitment Unit

Selection Procedure

LASUTH uses a two-stage selection process:

Stage 1 - Computer-Based Test: All applicants will participate in a CBT screening examination to assess academic readiness and aptitude for paramedics training.

Stage 2 - Oral Interview: Candidates who pass the CBT will be invited for an oral interview. You must bring original copies of all submitted documents for verification during the interview.
