LAUTECH Warns Students About False Matriculation Register Date

Ladoke Akintola University of Technology (LAUTECH) has told newly admitted 100-level and Direct Entry students to disregard a message claiming they must sign the matriculation register on 23 September 2026.

The university says the signing exercise has not started because the institution is on break. Students should not return to campus for it until an official commencement date is announced.

What Students Should Know

• The circulated 23 September date is false.
• The university will announce when signing begins after resumption.
• Students should rely on authorised LAUTECH communications.
