LUTH Post Basic Nursing and Midwifery Admission Form, 2020/2021

Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH Post Basic Nursing and School of Midwifery admission form has been released by the school authorities for the 2020/2021 academic session.

Applications are currently being invited from suitably qualified candidates for admission into the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), School of Midwifery and Post Basic Nursing Programmes for the 2020/2021 academic session.

Available Programmes and Duration

Programmes:

• School of Medical and Psychiatry Social Work (SMPSW)
• Community Health Officers Training School (CHOTS)
• Federal School of Biomedical Engineering (FSBE) – ND
• School of Health Information Management (SHIM)
• School of Anaesthetic Technician (SAT)
• School of Post Basic Nursing (SPBN)
• School of Midwifery (SOM)

Duration:

• School of Midwifery: 18 Months
• Post-Basic Nursing Programmes: One Year

Requirements for Admission Into LUTH Post Basic Nursing and Midwifery

School Of Midwifery:

• Candidates must be Registered Nurses with at least one year post qualification experience and with a VALID LICENSE.
• Must possess five (5) Credits at ‘O’ Level in the following subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Chemistry and Physics.
• Combination of results of not more than two (2) approved examination bodies i .e. GCE/WAEC or WAEC/NECO/.

Post-Basic Nursing:

• Applicants should possess the RN qualification (with or without RM), five (5) credits in WASC/GCE/NECO/GCE induding English Language, Mathematics and Biology at not more than two sittings.
• Applicants who qualified from 2006 till date should have credit in English Language, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Biology.
• Two years post qualification experience and current practice licence issued by the Nursing and Midwifery Council of Nigeria are mandatory for every applicant.

A. How to Register on Portal:

• Visit schools.luth.gov.ng and click register.
• Register and pay access fee. During registration, you will be required to choose the school you are applying to.

B. How to log in:

• Check your email after registration
• Click the link in the email to login to the portal and set your password.
• Click “Buy form” to visit the Remita payment page
• Make payment to purchase the Application form

C. How to complete Application Form

• Click “Fill form“ after paying to Fill and complete the Application Form online
• Submit the Application
• Check your email to download and print a copy of the completed Application Form

Note: Applicants must print out their completed online generated form. Shortlisted applicants would be required to present this during Examination.

CLOSING DATE:

31st August, 2020 for all Schools except School of Health Information Management and Federal School of Biomedical Engineering which close on 31st October, 2020.
