MAPOLY HND Admission 2025/2026: Requirements for Full-Time and Part-Time Programs

Minimum Academic Requirements

To qualify for MAPOLY HND admission, you must:

• ND grade: Minimum of Lower Credit in a relevant National Diploma program
• ND source: Must be from an NBTE-accredited institution
• Work experience: Minimum of one calendar year post-ND work experience with documentation

Alternative Qualification for Pass-Level ND Holders

If you obtained a Pass grade (not Lower Credit) in your ND:

• You need two years of cognate (relevant) work experience
• Experience must be documented and verifiable

Important Restrictions

MAPOLY has specified certain restrictions for HND admission:

Pre-ND Entry Restriction

"Candidates who obtained their National Diploma from other Polytechnics with Pre-ND as their entry qualification shall not be admitted."

This means if you gained admission to another polytechnic's ND program through Pre-ND (not through UTME or Direct Entry), you cannot apply for HND at MAPOLY.

Program-Specific Restrictions

Holders of the following certificates cannot apply for HND Accountancy:

• Banking & Finance ND
