MAUTECH Reschedules 2024/2025 Matriculation to June 20 – What New Students Need to Know

Modibbo Adama University of Technology (MAUTECH) has officially postponed its 2024/2025 matriculation ceremony to Friday, June 20, 2025. This announcement affects all incoming students who were preparing for the original ceremony date.

New Matriculation Timeline

The university has released a revised schedule that all new students must follow:

• By Wednesday, June 18: Pay a non-refundable ₦1,000 fee at the Bursary Department to receive your academic gown from your faculty officer
• Thursday, June 19 at 3:00 PM: Attend the mandatory rehearsal at the Convocation Square (attendance is compulsory)
• Friday, June 20: Official matriculation ceremony

What You Need to Do

If you're a new MAUTECH student, here are your action steps:

1. Ensure you have ₦1,000 ready for the gown deposit before June 18
2. Visit the Bursary Department to make the payment and get your receipt
3. Collect your academic gown from your faculty officer after payment
4. Clear your schedule for the rehearsal on June 19 – it's mandatory
5. Plan to attend the full ceremony on June 20

Important Reminders

The ₦1,000 gown fee is non-refundable, so make sure you're able to attend before making the payment. All academic gowns must be returned to faculty officers by Tuesday, June 23, 2025.

Faculty officers will collect the gowns from Central Stores on June 18 for distribution to students.
