NCAT Admission Into HND, PGD and Diploma Programmes Announced, 2021/2022

Nigerian College of Aviation Technology (NCAT) admission into Higher National Diploma (HND), Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) and Diploma programmes for 2021/2022 has been announced. See details below.

The Nigerian College of Aviation Technology, Zaria invites application from suitably qualified candidates for direct entry admission into the following programmes for 2021/2022 Academic Session.

NCAT Available Courses

Higher National Diploma (HND) Programmes

• Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Technology Airframe (Power plant option)
• Aircraft Maintenance Engineering Technology (Avionics option)
• Aviation Management

Post Graduate Diploma (PGD) Programmes

• Aviation Management (PGDAM) (Full-Time) Venue: NCAT,  Zaria
• Aviation Management (PGDAM) (Part-Time) Venue: Lagos

Requirements for Admission Into HND and PGD Programmes

1. NCAT Diploma Programmes

• A minimum of WASC/GCE/NECO/SSCE NTC “O” Level with at least five Credits which must include Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics and English Language.

2. Higher National Diploma (HND) Programme:

• Candidates must posses National Diploma with a minimum of Lower Credit Pass (CGPA of 2.50 and above) in Mechanical Engineering Technology, Electrical /Electronic Engineering Technology, Aircraft Engineering Technology and a minimum of one year Post ND industrial training.
• A minimum of one year post ND cognate working experience.
• In exceptional cases, a national diploma holder at pass level (CGPA of 2.00-2.49) who has 2 or more years of post -ND cognate work experience may be considered for admission into the HND programme.

4. Postgraduate Diploma Programmes:

Postgraduate Diploma in Aviation Management PGDAM

Candidates seeking admission into PGDAM must have obtained either of the qualifications listed below:

• Minimum of First Degree from a recognized academic institution
• Higher National Diploma from a recognized academic institution with a minimum working experience of two years
• NCAT Diploma and Professional Licences or its equivalent with a minimum working experience of two years.

Duration: Three Semesters

Venue: Lagos

Postgraduate Diploma in Aviation Management PGDAM

Candidates seeking admission into PGDAM must have obtained either of the qualifications listed below:

• Minimum of First Degree from a recognized academic institution
• Higher National Diploma from a recognized academic institution with a minimum working experience of two years
• NCAT Diploma and Professional Licences or its equivalent with a minimum working experience of two years.

Duration: Two Semesters

Venue: NCAT, Zaria
