NECO SSCE External Registration 2026: Dates, Fee and How to Apply

Registration is open for the 2026 National Examinations Council (NECO) Senior School Certificate Examination External for private candidates.

Key dates and fee

• Regular registration: July 7 to November 17, 2026.
• Late registration: November 18 to November 24, 2026, with an additional charge.
• Examination: November 25 to December 12, 2026.
• Registration fee: ₦30,000, excluding applicable stamp duty, service and Remita charges.

2. Open the NECO SSCE External registration portal.
3. Create an account, purchase the registration quota and complete your biodata.
4. Provide a valid NIN, recent passport photograph and biometric capture through an approved registration point.
