The Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil has opened applications for admission into its 13th Regular Course degree programmes for the 2026/2027 session.
Application Period and Fee
- Application opens: June 3, 2026
- Application closes: July 15, 2026
- Application fee: ₦6,000, including ₦2,000 for the Post-UTME examination
- Portal: POLAC RC-13 admission portal
Admission Requirements
- Applicants must be Nigerians by birth.
- Applicants must have a National Identity Number.
- Applicants must have a 2026 JAMB result with at least 180 marks.
- Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil must be selected as first choice.
- Applicants need at least six credits in WAEC, NECO or equivalent in not more than two sittings, including English Language and Mathematics.
- Applicants must be 16 to 21 years old by October 31, 2026.
- Male applicants must be at least 1.67m tall; female applicants must be at least 1.64m tall.
- Male applicants must have at least 86cm expanded chest measurement.
- Applicants must not be married, and female applicants must not be pregnant at admission.
- SSCE results or certificates from examinations before 2023 will not be accepted.
How to Apply
- Visit the POLAC RC-13 admission portal.
- Generate a Remita Retrieval Reference.
- Pay the non-refundable ₦6,000 fee through a commercial bank or supported payment channel.
- Complete the online application form.
- Upload scanned copies of SSCE result, birth certificate and certificate of origin.
- Print the completed online form and guarantor form.
Selection Stages
- Computer-based aptitude test at Nigeria Police Academy, Wudil ICT Centre.
- Automated physical screening.
- Automated medical screening.
- Automated interview and final selection.
Available Course Areas
The academy lists programmes across Humanities, Education, Science, Social and Management Sciences. Law will not be admitted for the 2025/2026 and 2026/2027 sessions.
Successful candidates will undergo five years of combined academic and police training leading to a bachelor's degree and commissioning as Assistant Superintendent of Police II.
