NSUK Creates Three New Faculties from Natural and Applied Sciences

Nasarawa State University, Keffi has approved the unbundling of its Faculty of Natural and Applied Sciences into three separate faculties.

The decision was reached at the university Senate's 140th Regular Meeting held on May 25, 2026. The change is aimed at strengthening academic administration and giving science, computing and life-science programmes more focused structures.

Statistics and Data Analytics Placement

The Department of Statistics and Data Analytics, initially proposed for the Faculty of Physical Sciences, has been reassigned to the Faculty of Computing because of its link with data science, computing and artificial intelligence.
