NYSC 2026 Batch A Stream II Orientation Timetable: April 22 to May 12

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has released the official orientation timetable for the 2026 Batch A Stream II. The three-week orientation course will commence on Wednesday, 22 April 2026 and end with the closing ceremony on Tuesday, 12 May 2026, holding concurrently across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).

NYSC has emphasised that the registration portal and camp gates will close promptly at midnight on Friday, 24 April 2026, with no provision for late arrivals or extensions. Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) who miss this window risk being rescheduled to a later batch.

What Prospective Corps Members Must Do

1. Report on commencement date: Arrive at your designated orientation camp on or immediately after April 22 to allow enough time to complete documentation within the three-day window
2. Complete online registration: If you have not already done so, finish your online registration before heading to camp
3. Bring original credentials: Carry the documents listed in your call-up letter, including your degree certificate, NYSC call-up letter, statement of result, and medical certificate
4. Pack for three weeks: Bring white T-shirts and shorts, white canvas (tennis) shoes, toiletries, and any prescribed medications
5. Prepare mentally and physically: Orientation includes physical drills, leadership training, and skill acquisition sessions

What to Expect During Orientation

The orientation course is designed to integrate graduates into the National Youth Service Scheme and prepare them for primary assignment postings. Activities include:

• Registration and documentation in the first three days
• Swearing-in ceremony that officially enrols PCMs as corps members
• Physical training and parades held daily
• Lectures on national issues, leadership, and entrepreneurship
