Summary

NYSC opens a three-day supplementary online registration window for 2026 Batch A prospective corps members from April 9 to April 11. Eligible PCMs, documents to prepare, and what to do during the window.

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has announced a supplementary online registration window for prospective corps members (PCMs) who missed the initial 2026 Batch A registration phase. The three-day exercise runs from Thursday, April 9, 2026, to Saturday, April 11, 2026.

Who Is Eligible

This supplementary window targets:

  • Prospective corps members whose names were recently uploaded by their institutions
  • Graduates whose names were recently added to the Senate list
  • Candidates who missed the initial Batch A registration phase

If you fall into any of these categories, this is your opportunity to complete your NYSC registration ahead of the upcoming Batch A orientation.

Registration Dates

  • Start Date: Thursday, April 9, 2026
  • Closing Date: Saturday, April 11, 2026

The window is strictly three days, so eligible PCMs should log in as soon as the portal opens to avoid last-minute issues.

Documents to Prepare Before Registration

NYSC advises all candidates to gather the following before accessing the portal:

  • Clear passport photograph (white background) in the required format
  • Valid means of identification (National ID, driver's licence, international passport, or voter's card)
  • Institution graduation details and matriculation number
  • Functional email address and phone number

Have your documents scanned, properly named, and saved in the correct file format before you begin.

What to Do During the Window

PCMs are expected to:

  1. Visit the NYSC online registration portal
  2. Complete their personal and academic profiles
  3. Upload clear passport photographs
  4. Complete biometric capture where required
  5. Print out the acknowledgement slip after registration

Why This Matters

Missing this supplementary window could delay your mobilization to the next batch. NYSC mobilization is a one-time opportunity per batch, and late registration is not permitted outside the official windows.
