OAU Admission List 2025/2026 Released: How to Check Your Status on JAMB CAPS

Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Ile-Ife has officially released its admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. All candidates who participated in the Post-UTME screening exercise can now verify their admission status through the JAMB Central Admissions Processing System (CAPS).

How to Check OAU Admission Status

The university has directed all applicants to use the JAMB CAPS portal to verify their admission status. Follow these steps carefully:

1. Visit the JAMB e-facility portal at efacility.jamb.gov.ng
2. Log in with your JAMB credentials (email and password)
3. Navigate to "Check Admission Status"
4. Click on "Access my CAPS"
5. Select "Admission Status" to view your result

Understanding Your Admission Result

When you check your status, you will see one of the following:

• Admitted: Your passport photograph will appear alongside a congratulations message confirming your admission
• Not Yet Admitted: The system will display "Sorry No Admission has been Given Yet"

Accepting Your OAU Admission

Successfully admitted candidates have four weeks to accept their admission offer. To accept:

• Send ACCEPT to 55019 or 66019 using your registered JAMB phone number
• Candidates without registered phone numbers should visit any JAMB accredited CBT centre for assistance

Printing Your Admission Letter

After accepting your admission, return to the JAMB CAPS portal to print your admission letter. This document is essential for clearance and registration at the university.
