Professor Ayobami Taofeek Salam
Professor Ayobami Taofeek Salami (The new VC) is a graduate of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife where he obtained his B.Sc degree in 1986. A Masters degree from the same institution in 1989 and a Ph.d from same university in 1990.
Before his appointment, Prof. Salami was the immediate past Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic) of the institution, Head of Space Applications and Environmental Science Laboratory (SPAEL) and Coordinator, Climate Modeling Unit, Institute of Ecology and Environmental Studies, OAU, Ile-Ife.
