OAU Announces Gate Access Protocol for 49th Convocation Ceremony

Obafemi Awolowo University has announced security protocols for vehicle access during its 49th Convocation ceremony scheduled for December 11-13, 2025. The University Ceremonials Committee has established measures to ensure smooth operations during the three-day celebration.

Vehicle Access Requirements

Vehicles without official University-approved parking stickers will be required to pay a daily access fee of ₦1,000 (One Thousand Naira) to enter campus during the convocation period. This applies to all three days of the ceremony.

What Staff Members Should Do

University staff whose vehicles currently lack the required car stickers are advised to procure them promptly from the designated office before the convocation dates. This ensures uninterrupted access and helps maintain smooth event operations.
