PAAU Post-UTME 2025: Online Screening Registration Opens August 4 - Cut-off Mark & Requirements

Prince Abubakar Audu University (PAAU) Anyigba has announced its Post-UTME screening schedule for the 2025/2026 academic session. The university is conducting the screening entirely online to reduce costs and security risks for candidates.

The PAAU Post-UTME registration opens on Monday, August 4, 2025 and closes on Friday, September 5, 2025.

PAAU Post-UTME Cut-off Mark

The minimum JAMB UTME score required is 150. This applies to all undergraduate programs at the university.

Registration Fee

The screening fee is ₦2,000. The university has kept this fee affordable as part of their effort to reduce the financial burden on candidates and their families.

Eligibility Requirements

1. First Choice Institution

You must have selected Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba (PAAU) as your first choice institution during JAMB registration, OR you must have successfully changed your institution to PAAU through JAMB CAPS.

According to the university, "only candidates who applied or changed his/her course of study to Prince Abubakar Audu University Anyigba (PAAU) as institution of First Choice" are eligible.

2. JAMB Score Requirement

Your 2025 UTME score must be 150 or above.

3. Subject Combination

You must have written the correct JAMB subject combination for your proposed course. Each department has specific subject requirements - verify yours matches what PAAU requires for your chosen program.

4. O'Level Requirements

You need five credit passes in O'Level subjects relevant to your chosen course. This must include:

• English Language (compulsory for all courses)
• Mathematics (compulsory for most courses)
• Three other relevant subjects for your program

5. JAMB CAPS Upload

Your O'Level results must be uploaded on your JAMB CAPS profile. This is mandatory for admission consideration. If you haven't done this, visit any JAMB-accredited CBT centre before applying.

If you're applying through Direct Entry, you need:

• Relevant O'Level subject combination for your program
• Your qualification must be in a field related to your chosen program

How Admission is Scored

PAAU uses a weighted scoring system for admission:

• UTME Score: 70% weight
• O'Level Results: 30% weight

This means your JAMB score carries more weight, but strong O'Level results (especially credits obtained in one sitting) significantly improve your chances.

Critical Reminders

Name Consistency

Make sure your name appears exactly the same on:

• JAMB registration
