PLASU Clarifies: No Tuition Fee Increase for 2025/2026 Session

Plateau State University (PLASU) has officially denied reports circulating on social media suggesting that the institution increased tuition fees for the 2025/2026 academic session. The university clarified that tuition fees have remained unchanged since 2022.

According to the university Registrar, Yakubu F. Ayuba, the confusion arose from a new ICT charge that was approved by the Governing Council. The Registrar emphasized that this charge is separate from tuition fees and should not be mistaken for a fee increase.
