Plateau State University (PLASU) has announced its Post-UTME and Direct Entry (DE) screening exercise for the 2025/2026 academic session. The online registration portal is now open from Monday, August 4, 2025, to Sunday, September 7, 2025.

Eligibility Requirements
For UTME Candidates
- Chose Plateau State University as first choice institution
- Scored minimum of 160 in the 2025 UTME examination
- Note: Different faculties and programs have varying cut-off marks - check the university's official cut-off table
- Possess required O'Level credits in relevant subjects
For Direct Entry Candidates
Direct Entry applicants must hold one of the following qualifications:
- First degree from a recognized institution
- Higher National Diploma (HND) with minimum Lower Credit
- National Diploma (ND) with minimum Lower Credit
- Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) with minimum Merit grade
- IJMB or JUPEB certificate with minimum of 6 points
Registration Process
Follow these steps to register for PLASU Post-UTME screening:
- Visit the PLASU Post-UTME portal at postutme.plasu.edu.ng/apply
- Create an account using your JAMB registration number
- Fill in your personal and academic information accurately
- Pay the ₦2,000 screening fee through the online payment platform
- Upload required documents (see list below)
- Submit your application and print acknowledgment slip
Required Documents for Upload
Prepare and upload the following documents:
- O'Level results showing best five relevant subjects (from maximum of two sittings)
- Recent passport photograph (white background)
- Formal signature (scanned on white paper)
- Certificate of Local Government Area of origin (indigene form)
- JAMB result slip (for UTME candidates)
- Relevant certificates (for Direct Entry candidates)
Faculty-Specific Cut-Off Marks
The minimum UTME score of 160 is the general requirement, but individual faculties and programs may have higher cut-off marks. Candidates should:
