PTDF Releases Interview Schedule for 2026/2027 Overseas Scholarship

The Petroleum Technology Development Fund (PTDF) has released the interview schedule for shortlisted candidates applying for the 2026/2027 Overseas Scholarship Scheme (OSS). Invitation letters have been dispatched to all shortlisted applicants, and the interviews will begin on Thursday, 16 April 2026 at 9:00 AM.

Interview Details

• Time: 9:00 AM (candidates must arrive at least 30 minutes before their scheduled time)

Programmes Covered

The Overseas Scholarship Scheme funds postgraduate study at approved foreign universities in two categories:

• Master’s Degree (MSc) in PTDF-approved fields related to the oil and gas industry
• Doctoral Degree (PhD) for candidates with an existing Master’s qualification

Required Documents at the Interview

Shortlisted candidates must present the original copies (not photocopies) of the following documents on their scheduled interview day:

1. O’ Level results (WAEC, NECO or equivalent)
2. B.Sc. certificate
3. NYSC discharge certificate or exemption letter
4. Local Government identification letter
5. Master’s degree certificate (mandatory for PhD candidates only)
6. Evidence of professional membership (where applicable)
