RSU Releases Undergraduate Admission Cut-off Marks for 2025/2026 Session

Rivers State University (RSU) has officially released the undergraduate admission cut-off marks for the 2025/2026 academic session across all faculties.

Understanding the Cut-off Categories

RSU uses three admission categories with different cut-off requirements:

• Merit: Open competition based on aggregate scores
• Catchment: For candidates from Rivers State and neighboring areas
• Pre-Degree: For candidates who completed RSU's pre-degree program

The following courses have the highest cut-off marks:

• Medicine & Surgery: 71 (Merit), 68 (Catchment), 72 (Pre-Degree)
• Law: 69 (Merit), 67 (Catchment)
• Nursing Sciences: 66 (Merit), 63 (Catchment), 68 (Pre-Degree)
