Sa'adu Zungur University Releases First Batch Admission List 2025/2026

Sa'adu Zungur University (SAZU) has released its first batch admission list for the 2025/2026 academic session. Shortlisted candidates are invited for mandatory physical screening at their respective campuses between September 8-22, 2025.

Physical Screening Schedule

• Start Date: Monday, September 8, 2025
• End Date: Monday, September 22, 2025
• Duration: Two weeks

Important: You must attend physical screening at the campus assigned to your program. Failure to attend within this timeframe may result in forfeiture of your admission.

Required Documents for Screening

Bring the following documents to your screening appointment:

1. Computer Printout of SSCE Result - Your original O'Level certificate printout
2. JAMB Result Slip - 2025 UTME result
3. Online Screening Form - Printed from the university portal
4. Recent Passport Photograph - Colored, with white background
5. O'Level Result Scratch Card - For verification purposes

Note: All documents must be original. Photocopies will not be accepted for verification.

Pre-Screening Requirement: Upload O'Level Results

Before attending physical screening, you MUST:

• Log in to the JAMB portal at jamb.gov.ng
• Navigate to the "Upload O'Level Results" section
• Upload all your O'Level results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
• Verify that all subjects and grades display correctly

Candidates who haven't uploaded their O'Level results to JAMB will not be cleared during physical screening.

After Successful Screening

The screening verification process takes 2-3 business days. After successful screening:

1. Return to the JAMB CAPS portal after 2-3 days
2. Check if your admission status has changed to "Admitted"
3. Accept your admission by sending "ACCEPT" via SMS to 55019 or 66019 (use your JAMB-registered phone number)
4. Print your admission letter from JAMB CAPS
5. Access the SAZU admission portal for further registration instructions

Critical Information

You cannot access SAZU admission details until you accept the offer on JAMB. Only candidates who formally accept their admissions through JAMB CAPS will be able to:

• Print their admission letters
• Access acceptance fee payment instructions
• Complete online registration
• Receive matriculation information

To check if you're on the first batch admission list:

1. Visit Sa'adu Zungur University's official website
2. Navigate to the Admissions section
3. Click on "2025/2026 Admission List"
4. Search for your name or JAMB registration number

Alternatively, check your JAMB CAPS portal for updates on your admission status.

What If I'm Not on This List?

If your name doesn't appear on the first batch list:

• Don't panic - universities release admissions in multiple batches
• Continue monitoring both SAZU portal and JAMB CAPS
• Ensure your JAMB profile information is accurate and complete
• Wait for subsequent batch releases throughout the admission cycle
