Eligibility Requirements

  • Minimum JAMB UTME score of 150
  • Sokoto State University as your first choice institution
  • Five O'Level credit passes including English Language and Mathematics
  • Credits obtained in maximum of two sittings
  • Results from WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB

For Direct Entry Candidates

  • All above O'Level requirements
  • Relevant advanced qualifications: NCE, ND, IJMB, or A-Level certificates
  • Qualifications must be in subjects related to your chosen program

Online Registration Process

  1. Visit Portal: Go to https://portal.ssu.edu.ng
  2. Login: Use your JAMB registration number as your login credentials
  3. Update Contact Info: Ensure your email address and phone number are current
  4. Generate Invoice: Create payment invoice for ₦2,000 screening fee
  5. Pay Fee: Complete payment at any bank or through online channels
  6. Return to Portal: Log back in after payment confirmation
  7. Complete Biodata: Fill in personal details and academic records accurately
  8. Upload Documents: Submit O'Level results and JAMB slip (Direct Entry candidates must also upload advanced certificates)
  9. Submit: Review all information and submit your application
  10. Print Slip: Download and print your acknowledgement slip for records
