Taraba State College of Nursing and Midwifery Admission Form 2025/2026 Now Available

The Taraba State College of Nursing and Midwifery has opened its online admission portal for the 2025/2026 academic session. Applications are now being accepted for Community Nursing and Community Midwifery programs.

• Opening Date: 21st July, 2025
• Closing Date: 31st August, 2025
• Application Window: 6 weeks

Available Programs

The college is accepting applications for two nursing disciplines:

• Community Nursing: Training for community health nursing practice
• Community Midwifery: Preparation for midwifery services in community settings

Entry Requirements

To qualify for admission, candidates must meet the following criteria:

Academic Requirements:

• Minimum of three (3) credit passes in O'Level examinations (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
• Results from a maximum of two sittings are acceptable
• Compulsory Subjects:
  • English Language (credit)
  • Biology (credit)
  • Either Physics OR Chemistry (credit)

State of Origin Requirement:

• Applicants must be indigenes of Taraba State
• Local Government identification letter may be required for verification

Important NABTEB Note:

• NABTEB results can ONLY be combined with other NABTEB results
• Cannot mix NABTEB with WAEC or NECO for the two-sitting combination

Application Fee

• Cost: ₦10,000 (non-refundable)
• Payment Method: ATM card via online portal

1. Visit Application Portal: Go to tarabascom.edu.ng/portal/application
2. Create Account: Register with your email address and create login credentials
3. Log In: Access your account using the credentials you created
4. Pay Application Fee: Complete the ₦10,000 payment using your ATM card
5. Fill Application Form: Carefully complete all sections of the form
6. Upload Documents: Submit scanned copies of required documents
7. Submit Application: Review and submit your completed form
8. Print Acknowledgment: Save and print your application slip

O'Level Result Verification

Important: You will need an O'Level result checking card or PIN that has not been used more than three times. Ensure your PIN is valid before starting the application process.

Physical Verification and Screening

All applicants must attend the physical verification and screening exercise:

• Date: Thursday, 5th September, 2025
• Time: 8:00 AM (arrive early)
• Venue: Taraba State College of Nursing & Midwifery premises

• Original O'Level result(s)
• Photocopies of O'Level result(s)
• Birth certificate or age declaration (original and photocopy)
• Local Government identification letter (original and photocopy)
