Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) Council has appointed Professor Adekunle Olanrewaju Adeogun as Acting Vice-Chancellor following an emergency meeting held on October 22, 2025.
Prof. Adeogun, who currently serves as Deputy Vice-Chancellor, will assume the acting role effective November 4, 2025. This date coincides with the end of the current Vice-Chancellor Professor Oluwole Banjo's tenure.
The appointment is temporary pending the selection and appointment of a permanent Vice-Chancellor. The outgoing VC, Professor Banjo, has congratulated his successor and expressed prayers for divine guidance during the transition period.
The university community and stakeholders are encouraged to support the incoming administration as TASUED continues its mission of producing quality education graduates.
