UCH Ibadan School of Health Information Management Announces ND and HND Admissions for 2025/2026
The University College Hospital Ibadan has opened applications for its School of Health Information Management (SHIM) programmes for the 2025/2026 academic session. Students can apply for either the two-year National Diploma (ND) or Higher National Diploma (HND) in Health Information Management, with classes beginning in September 2025.
National Diploma (ND) Entry Requirements
To qualify for the ND programme, candidates must:
- Score 150 or above in the 2025 JAMB UTME examination
- Obtain five credit passes in WAEC, NECO or GCE O-Level examinations
- Required subjects: English Language, Mathematics, Biology, Physics and Chemistry
- Results must be from not more than two sittings
- Certificates must be from the same examination body
Higher National Diploma (HND) Entry Requirements
HND applicants must present original copies of the following documents:
- O-Level examination results
- National Diploma or Professional Diploma certificate in Health Information Management
- Valid License Certificate
- Industrial Training (IT) completion letter
- Original JAMB admission letter
Computer-Based Test Subjects
ND candidates will write CBT in:
- English Language
- Mathematics
- Physics
- Chemistry
- Biology
HND candidates will write CBT in:
- Health Records Management
- Anatomy and Physiology
- Clinical Coding
- Biostatistics
- Computer Science
- Health Planning Management
Application Instructions
The application portal opened on Monday, April 28, 2025. Follow these steps to complete your application:
- Visit the UCH Schools portal at portal.uch-ibadan.org.ng
- Click the REMITA payment button to pay your application fee
- After payment, register using your RRR number, email address and password
- Log in with your email and password to complete the registration
- Download the Applicants' User Guide from the portal for detailed instructions
- Print two copies of your application form and photo card
