UI Announces Acceptance Fee Payment for 2025/2026 Admitted Students

The University of Ibadan has announced that candidates who received admission offers and generated their admission letters through CAPS must pay a non-refundable acceptance fee of ₦50,000.00 via the university's admission portal at www.admissions.ui.edu.ng.

Important Dates

• Portal Opens: Monday, November 10, 2025
• Deadline: Friday, December 5, 2025
• No extensions will be granted after this date

Payment Methods

Candidates can choose between two payment options:

1. Card Payment: Credit or debit card payments through ATM
2. Bank Branch: Cash payment at any bank using a print-out from the admission portal, followed by reconciliation in the portal

Candidates should print and retain their payment success receipts.

Required Documents

Applicants must upload alongside their payment:

• O'Level result(s)
• PIN/Serial numbers from WAEC/NECO scratch cards for O'Level results

Next Steps

Following payment, candidates must present original credentials to designated Schedule Officers in the Undergraduate Admissions Office for clearance at a date to be announced later. Only those found qualified during clearance will be matriculated as official university students.

"If discovered at clearance or any time that a candidate gained admission with insufficient, irregular or inauthentic credentials, the university reserves the right to withdraw the admission."
