UI Best Graduating Student Says He Had No Girlfriend

The 67th Foundation ceremony and 2015 Convocation of the prestigious University of Ibadan (UI) was quite eventful as Sadiq Olayinka Olamide emerged best graduating student of the institution.

The young graduate of Veterinary Medicine from the institution in a chat with newsmen, said his success was as a result of God’s favour and assistance, as well as the support of his family and his attention to and focus on his studies.

When asked about his social life as a student, he said;

“I must also say that I didn’t entertain any form of distractions not even from friends or the opposite sex. I did not attend social functions anyhow and I did not also have any girlfriend or what you may refer to as a lover because I knew having one would come with distraction here and there.”

“So, I married my book by concentrating on my studies and I thank God for crowning my effort with success.”
