UITH Orthopaedic Cast Technology Admission 2026/2027: ND & HND

The University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital (UITH) has opened admission for the School of Orthopaedic Cast Technology for the 2026/2027 academic session. The official notices cover the National Diploma (ND) and Higher National Diploma (HND) full-time programmes.

Programmes covered

• National Diploma in Orthopaedic Cast Technology.
• Higher National Diploma in Orthopaedic Cast Technology.

ND requirements

• Applicants must have sat for the 2026 UTME.
• Applicants must make School of Orthopaedic Cast Technology, UITH, their first choice.
• Applicants need five O'level credits in not more than two sittings. NABTEB must be from one sitting.
• Required subjects include English Language, Mathematics, Biology or Health Science, and two relevant science or technical subjects listed in the official notice.
• Applicants must be at least 16 years old within the age condition stated by UITH.

HND requirements

• Applicants need the relevant O'level requirements.
• Applicants need at least Lower Credit in National Diploma in Orthopaedic Cast Technology from an accredited institution.
• Applicants need evidence of one year industrial training in a recognized hospital.
• Applicants are expected to have a JAMB admission letter for their ND in Orthopaedic Cast Technology.
• Staff applicants should include a sponsorship letter where applicable.

Application fees

• ND applicants pay a total of N7,500: N2,000 Post-UTME fee, N5,000 screening/interview fee and N500 administrative charge.
• HND applicants pay N10,000.
• UITH says payment must be made through the Remita platform into the UITH General Purpose Account. Cash payment or transfer to personal accounts is not allowed.

How to apply

1. Read the official UITH notice for the programme you want.
2. Make the required payment through Remita using University of Ilorin Teaching Hospital and UITH General Purpose as the service purpose.
3. Use the Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) to complete the online SOCT application form on the UITH website.
4. Print the completed form and take it to the examination or interview venue when UITH announces the date.

Screening date

UITH says the entrance examination and interview dates will be communicated to applicants later.
