UMYU Disclaimer Notice on Fake Admission Notice

The management of the Umaru Musa Yar’Adua University (UMYU) has issued a disclaimer notice on fraudulent advertisement of admission. The notice as issued by the management is as follows:

The attention of Umaru Musa Yar’adua University, Katsina (UMYU) has been drawn to a fraudulent advertisement circulating the social media platforms targeting newly admitted students. The fake notice, which claims to be about student profile (Bio-Data) updates, originated from one Usman K Usman is not from the university and should be disregarded.

UMYU does not request students to submit personal details such as phone numbers, email addresses, or next of kin information through unofficial channels. Students are advised to ONLY follow official university communication channels for registration and other academic matters.

The university management urges all students and the general public to be vigilant and report any suspicious activities to the appropriate authorities.
