UMYU Katsina Post-UTME 2025: Registration Opens August 29 - September 25

Umaru Musa Yar'adua University (UMYU), Katsina has announced its Post-UTME and Direct Entry screening schedule for the 2025/2026 academic session, inviting eligible candidates to register for aptitude testing.

Registration Timeline

• Opens: Friday, August 29, 2025
• Closes: Thursday, September 25, 2025
• Registration fee: ₦2,000 (all-inclusive)

Eligibility Requirements

For UTME Candidates:

• Must have selected UMYU as first choice in 2025 JAMB UTME
• UTME score must meet minimum cutoff marks for chosen program
• Must have correct UTME subject combination for intended course
• O'Level results with required credits (typically 5 credits including English and Mathematics)

For Direct Entry Candidates:

• UMYU listed as first choice in JAMB Direct Entry
• Valid A'Level results (IJMB, NCE, ND, Diploma, or equivalent)
• Online screening only—no physical attendance required for DE candidates

Required Documents for Registration

1. JAMB Result Slip (for UTME) or JAMB Registration Slip (for DE)
2. O'Level examination results (WAEC, NECO, or NABTEB)
3. Valid means of identification (National ID, voter's card, or school ID)
4. A'Level results or equivalent qualifications (Direct Entry candidates only)
5. Passport photograph (recent, colored)

Special Provisions

• Awaiting Results: Candidates awaiting O'Level results can still register
• Special Needs: JAMB-identified candidates with special needs are exempted from the aptitude test but must submit credentials to the Registrar's Office

How to Register

1. Visit the official UMYU Post-UTME portal
2. Generate payment invoice using your JAMB registration number
3. Pay ₦2,000 screening fee through the portal
4. Complete the online registration form with accurate details
5. Upload required documents (ensure file sizes meet portal requirements)
6. Submit and print your acknowledgment slip

The aptitude test date and venue will be communicated to registered candidates through the portal and via email. Candidates should check their registration email regularly for updates.
