We have just received information that UNICAL Students are engaging in Protests around the school and are restricting movement.
The University of Calabar (UNICAL) students are currently protesting, blocking every entrance to their school.
The students are protesting the deplorable conditions of the University hostels, especially the toilets in the female part of the hostels.
They are also accusing the Vice Chancellor of not improving and taking the welfare of students seriously since he came into office.
Among the reasons for their protest are, no water or electricity.
