UNIJOS Notice on Verification/Authentication Of Payment Of School Charges Receipts

The attention of the University Administration has been drawn to a rumour going round the Campuses of the University that the University Management is planning to prevent students who had issues with verification/authentication of their school charges receipts from writing the 2015/2016 Session, First Semester Examinations.

For the avoidance of doubt, we wish to inform the University community that the University Administration has not and is still not contemplating any such action because the process of verifying/authenticating the receipts of payment of school charges of all students is still on-going. We therefore, enjoin all students to disregard the rumour and go ahead with preparation for the forthcoming examinations.

However, students who have issues with verification/authentication of their school charges receipts should complain in writing individually to the Vice-Chancellor through their Head of Departments and Deans, stating whom they paid to and when and attach evidence of the payment.

In view of the above, all Deans and Head of Departments are requested to allow all bonafide students of their respective Departments/Faculties to write the First Semester examinations pending the conclusion of the verification exercise please.
